Smart, funny, sexy, and unique with suspenseful action

I loved this!! It’s smart, funny, sexy, and unique with suspenseful action. I couldn’t put it down and am going to read the next book right away.

Angie woke up in an auction pen and was sold to some nasty spiderish aliens. Arokh, a reptilian alien, steals her from them.

Them not being able to speak to each other was masterfully handled. It was funny, very entertaining, and not confusing at all. I was almost sorry to lose it when they could finally speak. Actions speak louder than words. Confusion still occurs even after and made for more funny bits all the way to the end.

Some have complained of the reptilian nature of the hero, but I really liked that. It’s different and made me want to know more about him and the other aliens mentioned. It’s much more interesting than just being blue or something.

Good start to world-building brought down by grammar mistakes

There was a good start to world-building, but it wasn’t fully realized. The novel would have to be much longer to fully flesh it out. Some explanations were good, but the story went back on our understanding later. For example, I understood the way Loraine learned Raxar’s language, but several chapters later, we are told Raxar knows English now. That was very confusing.

The conflict was too easily and quickly resolved. It could have used a lot more plot.

The grammar was terrible with wrong words, repeated words, and missing and extra quotation marks. It was very distracting.
